THE ASSOCIATION OF THEATRICAL ARTISTS AND CRAFTSPEOPLE

Calling All Window Display Artisans
As you may (or may not) know, the Graphic Artists Guild publishes a book called the "Handbook of Pricing & Ethical Guidelines," which is the bible of the graphic arts/Illustration industries. The book contains a lot of info for artists about copyright, licensing, sample contracts for all sorts of assignments, and a thorough national survey of what professionals in different fields charge so as to help artists and clients price jobs. http://www.graphicartistsguild.org/handbook/
The Communications Committee conducts a new survey every two years for updated editions. They're currently working on the 2010 edition...
Editor Deborah Kantor is looking for display artists who work in window display- particularly in the NY area- to participate in the survey for the section on window display. If you work in the window display industry, please contact the Graphic Artists Guild to participate in this important survey.
Thank you so much for your help with this,
Best wishes, Lisa Shaftel
