FROM THE GENERAL MEETING OF JANUARY 19, 2009

Six members were present: Nadine Charlsen, Mary Creede, Deborah Glassberg, Arnold Levine, Adele Recklies; and Stanley Sherman.  Three guests joined the meeting: joe Gourley, Leanne Meyerson, and Liz Popeil. 

Arnold called the meeting to order at 730 p.m. at O’Flaherty’s Pub and welcomed everyone.  The members and guests introduced themselves.

TREASURY: Arnold passed on Cindy’s report that we haven’t been paid by our publisher but we have about $2,000 in the account.  Dues will be paid soon so that will give us more money.  ATAC paid Nadine and Cindy for work done on the sourcebook and some equipment.  ATAC owes John Yvroyan about $450.  We still have one certificate of deposit in the bank.

SOURCEBOOKS: Arnold reported that Cindy would like to meet with committee volunteers.  Mary, Adele, and Nadine volunteered for the committee.  Liz Popeil said that she would like to serve on the committee after she joined ATAC.

MEMBERSHIP: Arnold mentioned that we have some people interested in joining ATAC.  Liz Poepeil said that she would like to join.

BACKSTAGE MAGAZINE: Arnold said that he had spoken to Sherry Eaker, editor-at-large for Backstage and that they are interested in doing an article about ATAC that would include the group’s history and function.  Ms. Eaker is going to contact Arnold for an interview.  Stanley suggested that we invite her to the portfolio party and Arnold added that we should send her a sourcebook as well.

The meeting was adjourned at  8:10 p.m..
