FROM THE GENERAL MEETING OF JULY 26, 2010 |

4 members were present: Nadine Charlsen, Arnold Levine, Adele Recklies, and Anne-Marie Wright. Arnold called the meeting to order at 8:15 p.m. at Worldwide Plaza. NEWSLETTER: Arnold reported that we have missed two issues now. The question was raised as to whether we should go to an electronic newsletter. Adele suggested that we might start a blog at some point if we want to get away from a three month wait for the newsletter. HEALTH AND SAFETY: Arnold asked if ATAC should collect pertinent MSDSs and arrange them in a downloadable format. Adele wondered if the websites that already did that were still in business. SEPTEMBER MEETING: The fall general meeting will be September 27. Nadine offered to set up a meeting with Marty at her place so that he could show us how to access the private section of the ATAC website. She will try for September 20. NEW MEMBERSHIP PACKET: We discussed offering new members a free sourcebook as a one-time deal or hold a drawing for a free book at each meeting. Nadine moved that ATAC give new members a one-time, free, current sourcebook upon payment of dues. Jung Kim and Margaret Cusack would be eligible for this policy change. Anne-Marie seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

It was decided that the membership packet will include: About ATAC, the constitution, the yellow book, an old newsletter, a sample contract, about the committees, free sourcebook, pertinent online addresses, and information of the ATAC website, Yahoo group, Facebook group, and www.entertainmentsourcebook.com NEW MEMBERS: Anne-Marie nominated Jung Kim as an associate member and Kate Dale as a full member. Nadine seconded the motion and it passed unanimously with Karen Hart and Cindy Fain voting in absentia. SOURCEBOOK: Arnold reported that we are waiting for the copy from the proofreader; it should arrive on July 27. The meting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.. Respectfully submitted by Adele Recklies.
